ADAMH is seeking our next Fiscal Systems Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining all financial data within systems/databases related to ADAMH’s funding of providers of behavioral health services through grants/subgrants (e.g. levy, local, state, and federal funds).

What you’ll do:

  • Administers and maintains financial data related to ADAMH grant and subgrant funding (including levy, local, state, and federal sources) within the data warehouse accounting database and other electronic repositories; verifies Franklin County Tyler ERP/MUNIS exports and ensures accurate assignment of funding sources, allocations, and financial coding.
  • Manages provider allocation and payment data to establish, control, and reconcile ADAMH expenditures with contract providers; tracks allocation changes, including Board of Trustee actions, and maintains allocation data to ensure accurate provider payments.
  • Ensures financial data integrity by monitoring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of grant/subgrant financial data and allocation records across systems.
  • Compiles and verifies data to prepare and analyze financial reports related to provider funding, including monthly block grant reports, grant/subgrant reports, provider claims balance statements, and management reports used by team leadership and ADAMH Senior Staff with primary responsibility for monthly block grant reporting.
  • Conducts reconciliation activities including monthly expenditure reconciliations, annual provider payment and cost reconciliations, and year-end allocation summaries reflecting unearned funds.
  • Reviews, evaluates, and monitors provider contract budgets for financial accuracy, completeness, and alignment with approved allocations; collaborates with Provider Relations to support providers on budget and allocation matters, including revisions and issue resolution; and maintains and updates related budget guidance, procedures, and documentation.
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders including Finance staff, the Senior Director of Data and Analytics, and the Data Manager to support the structure, functionality, and continuous improvement of accounting data systems; researches, plans, and recommends system and process enhancements to meet organizational reporting and business needs.
  • Provides training and technical assistance to internal users on financial and accounting data related to grants/subgrants, and to external users regarding provider reports and related technical issues.
  • Maintains professional knowledge by staying current on relevant financial systems, technologies, and best practices through training, seminars, and professional development.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent      combination of education and experience.

Experience: Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in financial systems, accounting, grants management, or financial data analysis, including responsibility for maintaining financial data, performing reconciliations, and preparing fiscal reports.

Two (2) years of experience working with financial systems or relational databases (e.g., ERP systems, SQL-based reporting, data warehouses), including validating data accuracy and producing reports using tools such as Excel, SQL, Access, or similar platforms.

Two (2) years of experience collaborating with internal or external stakeholders to translate business or fiscal requirements into system processes, reports, or data structures.

One (1) year of experience supporting or administering grant-funded or contract-based programs, preferably in a public sector, human services, or governmental environment.


Skills:  Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and financial    analysis.
             Knowledge of current developments in professional area(s) and successful   application of developments to current situations.
             Strong interpersonal, team building and communication skills.
             Strong organizational and time management skills.
             Excellent independent problem-solving and analytical skills.

             Excellent software skills (e.g. Excel, Word, other database/finance software, Tyler ERP/MUNIS).
             Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with a wide variety of culturally diverse consumers, staff and public.
             Ability to synthesize and consolidate large amounts of data into pertinent information.
             Ability to multitask within an environment of rapidly changing priorities.
